This absolutely delicious dessert recipe takes a three-step process to complete but it’s not hard to do and is well worth the effort. The taste buds of the lucky friends and family you share this with will be eternally grateful and will be asking for this favorite treat for years to come.
- 1 1/2 Cups flour
- 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (divided)
- 1 1/2 stick soft butter or margarine
- 1 8oz. cream soft cream cheese
- 1 tsp.Vanilla
- 1 cup powder sugar
- 1 tub of whipped topping(large size)
- 3 cups cold milk
- 2 small boxes instant lemon pudding mix*
Mix flour, 1/4 cup nuts and butter. Spread in a 13×9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 20 – 30 minutes, until slightly golden brown. Cool.
Mix cream cheese, vanilla, powder sugar and 1 cup whipped topping. Beat well and spread over the first layer. Place in fridge and let set for 1 hour.
Mix instant pudding with milk and spread over second layer. Top with remaining whipped topping and crushed nuts. Cool and chill.
